Bonjour à tous.

comme indiqué dans un de mes précédents messages, je prépare actuellement une exposition composée de 2 séries ("american dreamz" - voir catalogue expo sur blurb lien ci joint et une toute nouvelle série intitulée "new york, dark york"). L'expo aura lieu de mi mai à fin juin 2011 dans l'espace exposition de la librairie "joseph Gibert" au centre commercial du "carré de soie" à Vaulx en Velin. Ce ne sont que des photos en noir et blanc.
Je posterai des photos de l'expo le moment venu.

as mentioned in one of my recent posts, I am currently preparing an exhibition where 2 series will be displayed. The first one is "american dreamz" (see exhibition catalog through the blurb link), the other is a brand new one called "new york, dark york". It will take place from mid-May to late June at the book store "joseph Gibert" within the shopping center called "carre de soie" close to Lyon.

yes I know, this one sounds incredible. It's a lighten tree, shot December 2007 in Strasbourg, France (Xmas market). I cannot explain why some backlights appear on the tree trunk. Polaroid camera put on a bench to be steady.

celle ci semble incroyable ; en fait c'est un arbre illuminé (pris en décembre 07 au marché de Noel à Strasbourg) ; je n'explique pas la présence des lumières arrière (d'un manège) sur le tronc. Le pola était posé sur un banc pour plus de stabilité.

Below are the first shots I took with my "brand new" Holga (new camera in the family), just bought on travel. Feeded with Fuji pro 400, as you can see on the contact sheet. Scanned with my "new" flatbed canoscan8800F (a lot of new stuff, huh ?)

ci jointes les premières photos prises avec le tout nouveau Holga acheté localement (encore un nouvel appareil dans la collection !). Le film est du Fuji Pro 400F, comme vous pouvez le voir sur la planche contact. Scanné avec le canoscan 8800F, lui aussi tout nouveau. (décidement pas mal de choses nouvelles ! )

the day after tomorrow, I will be travelling to the US for 3 weeks in order to work on the subject for my next exhibition (American Dreamz 2 ) ; therefore posting will be temporarily stopped, hopefully returning to business by the end of August. I will try to publish the journal of the trip. Another US trip is planned mid November.The material I'm bringing : dSLR (20D) + 2 lenses, point & shoot (my favorite fuji F11, with its top-of-the-class high ISO competencies), a polaroid instant camera, a diana (120 film), a video camera, a picture databank 160Go (RAW use expected), sensor brush and blower etc... I did not recruit an assistant to carry all that so I'm wondering how I will manage ;-))
